Founded in 1976, University of Phoenix was one of the first accredited universities to offer online college education with complete degree programs via the Internet. Most students can earn a degree in as few as 2 years.

University of Phoenix is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
